Perhaps I don't understand how TSOH works, but am surprised a week after META (one of your largest holdings) reported earnings that on the surface seemed very strong, but clearly upset the market, you haven't covered it at all, while instead writing about a company you dont own.
Can you clarify how TSOH covers its own portfolio holdings, especially after they report. thx
My goal is to prioritize the publication schedule to be timely for subscribers. Typically, that is companies I already own, especially if something happened that materially changes my views and / or is likely to result in a portfolio change. If not, my focus shifts to watchlist names or new companies where I think notable changes have happened and where I'm close to an investment.
Naturally, this can be more challenging during earnings season, especially for a few weeks.
In this particular instance, I concluded that the Q4 FY25 Meta update, "In Zuck We Trust?" (https://thescienceofhitting.com/p/in-zuck-we-trust), shared a message that is largely similar to my views after reviewing the Q1 FY26 results. As a result, I decided that RBLX was a better topic given all that has happened there, along with my prior commentary on a rough buy target.
With all that said, a reminder that TSOH subscribers can reach out anytime to discuss companies in the TSOH portfolio or on the watchlist. Happy to email or to get on a phone call, whatever would work best for you. As always, thank you for subscribing to TSOH Investment Research.
Regarding Sazerac, this was just posted on Bloomberg
