During the early hours on Tuesday, March 12th, the TSOH Investment Research Service welcomed its first junior analyst: Jack William Morris.
Jack has already proven to be a strong addition to TSOH; on Thursday, he was up early with his dad as they worked through Jack’s first earnings report (Dollar General). What has quickly become clear is that dad has a lot to learn as the team grows. For one notable example, the baby books and YouTube videos don’t adequately prepare you for a screaming baby with flailing limbs and a full diaper. The first few nights have been eventful (to say the least!), and dad has his hands full doing anything he can to support mom and Jack.
For that reason, I’ll be taking paternity leave over the coming week.
We’ll be back Monday, March 25th with an update on Dollar General and Dollar Tree; other upcoming posts from TSOH include a Fever-Tree update, an initiation on DraftKings / Flutter, and the Q1 2024 Portfolio Update.
Thank you as always for your continued support of the TSOH Investment Research Service. If you’re a mom or a dad who has learned some useful lessons that you’re willing to share with first time parents, don’t be shy!

"New parent" advice:
1) Worry less. Enjoy more.
2) The effort to be the person my kids seem to believe me to be -- my best self -- has meant years of struggle, and years of benefit.
3) At 2 am with a screaming colicky baby, you'll agree that buying a gliding rocker was the single smartest investment in happiness that you ever made.
Congratulations, Alex! Take as much time as needed and cherish those moments!
When I read the title, I thought TSOH was hiring and I was about to send in my resume, haha!
