Markel: “It’s Not Over”
In May 2024, Markel management participated in a number of events, most notably the Omaha brunch and the annual shareholder meeting (reunion) in Richmond. In addition, CEO Tom Gayner spoke on a panel with Graham Holdings CEO Tim O'Shaughnessy, as well as with Macrae Sykes, a portfolio manager at the Gabelli Funds. After watching each of these events, I thought it might be helpful to share some of my key takeaways for this TSOH holding.
